Astrophotography is known to be one of the more equipment-intensive and technical forms of photography. In my humble opinion, it is an adventure. You need to be patient and willing to wait out the moments whether or not they will appear is the glamorous part of all of it. Pack a meal, make a meal while you wait, open a bottle of something and turn on your favorite tune, absorb yourself in where you are and open yourself to the opportunity if Mother Nature so chooses to display her beauty for you to capture.
